Restaurant in a unique environment

Tofta Manor’s main building is heritage listed and dates back to the 18th Century - a historical building with classic interior and still many original furnitures. The hotel and farm is family owned, and we are dedicated to preserve as much of the atmosphere as possible just the way it was at the Manor in the past. 

Our restaurant is open specific evenings all year for dinner. You will dine in one of the manor’s wonderful dining rooms, which offers romance for those wanting to enjoy a special evening with a loved one and a pleasant family atmosphere for those wanting to celebrate a special occasion with family and friends.


SUMMERTIME AT TOFTA:  between June 28  and August 20  we are open Tuesday - Saturday from 17:00.

When you book your table, please let us know when you wish to eat:

  • Early sitting at 5 pm
  • Later sitting at 7:30 pm. 

We work with set menus per evening, thus making it easier for us to control our food waste. We work continuously with Swedish locally produced ingredients and what is in season. During the summer we have a set starter and dessert per evening. You choose your main course. See our summer menus below.

Prices:
  • Three course set menu: 545:- sek
  • Two course menu (starter & main course): 415:- sek

Children up to 12 years can choose from the following options:

  • Smaller portion of the regular menu: 1/2 price
  • A slightly more child-adapted menu: 175 SEK (e.g. toast/swedish meatballs & mashed potatoes/ice cream)

Please let us know prior to your visit if you have any food allergies or would like a vegetarian / vegan alternative.

Summer menu

During the summer we have a set starter and dessert per evening. You choose your main course. We have options for you with food allergies / special diets. Let us know beforehand so our chefs have time to prepare something good.

Wednesday and Friday:
  • Lightly smoked halibut with yuzu-kosho mayonnaise, puffed rice and garden greens
  • Choose your main course*
  • Sorbet on fresh local milk from Hållsunga farm with summer fruits, berries and cookie crumbs
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday: 
  • Locally grown tomatoes with cream cheese from Hållsunga farm and roasted almonds and herbs
  • Choose your main course*
  • Strawberry sorbet with a variety of white chocolate treats
Choose your main course *:
  • This week's white fish with today's locally grown crops served with sauce and capers on elderberries
  • Baked pork tenderloin from Gråbo with apple sauce and today’s summer vegetables
  • This week's baked vegetable with saffron peas, summer vegetables and elderberry sauce (vegetarian)

* the main courses are served with new potatoes dressed with herbs

We grow some of our vegetables and herbs ourselves. Some of our closest neighbors delivers their surplus harvest to the manor kitchen. The west coast pantry with seafood lays close to our heart.

We have three dining rooms of different size – all beautiful and preserved just the way they were at the Manor in the past.

The wine cellar features a selection of wines, and our sommelier recommends wine pckages that goes with this evening's menu. Otherwise, you are of course welcome to choose from our drink list, where we focus on organic wine, natural wine and locally produced craft beer.

The west coast pantry with seafood lays close to our heart.

Many of our guests like to start their evening by enjoying a drink before dinner in one of the Manor’s atmospheric rooms. Or why not on the terrace or in the garden during nice weather?

We have three dining rooms of different size – all beautiful and preserved just the way they were at the Manor in the past.

Information about Covid-19

Update 21-06-31: From 1st July we return to our normal opening hours in the restaurant.

  • According to current restrictions, we set the table for a maximum of 8 people in the same party per table. If you are more than 8, you will be placed on more tables.

We follow the development closely and act according to the recommendations of the Public Health Authority. The safety and security of our guests and employees is always our top priority.

  • Due to the current situation we put extra distance between the tables.
  • We have three separate dining rooms, and take a limited number of guests.
